CLIENT:

The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Well Ahead Program assist in national efforts to reduce tobacco-related diseases and deaths. In support, the Louisiana Department of Health’s goal was to decrease the number of smokers across the state.

CHALLENGE:

To reach a target audience of 21+ years or old in Louisiana to encourage a decrease in smoking habits thought a wide variety of mediums ranging from radio and television commercials to social media and digital media advertisements.

RESULTS:

Created a strong “Tips From A Smoker” advertising campaign that reached an average of 80% of adults 21 years or older with nearly 3,500 commercial spots over two months that led to approximately 2,300 GRPs. The digital campaign netted over 520,000 impressions with the social media campaign generated 3,000,000 video views and 1,000,000 clicked views. The connected TV campaign generated nearly 180,000 impressions and the out-of-home campaign generated 868,000 impressions.
