Octagon Wins More Awards

The Addy’s is an annual award show presented by the American Advertising Federation. The Baton Rouge chapter’s board decided on the best of the best in all things advertising for the past year. With that being said, Octagon won two more awards.

Octagon produced a commercial for Capital City Alliance. Capital City Alliance is a community organization dedicated to engaging, promoting, and advocating for the LGBTQ+ community in Baton Rouge. The commercial was called “Stand Up.” The commercial emphasized the various issues the LGBTQ+ community faces. This film won Silver in the Film, Video, and Sound – Public Service Campaign category.

Additionally, Octagon produced a playing card game called “Fais Do Geaux.” This playing card game resembles the familiar “Go Fish” child’s game. What is interesting about “Fais Do Geaux” is that the card’s designs are Baton Rouge inspired. With images of the Old Governor’s Mansion, USS Kidd, and more, the game incorporates various things that make up Baton Rouge’s culture. These were created for the Baton Rouge Bicentennial. This game won Silver in the Direct Marketing – Specialty Advertising category.

We are more than proud of our creative and design team for going above and beyond for each client that walks through our door. We believe that the best is yet to come for Octagon Media, our clients, and our city.
