Recently, our friends The Luster Group, a multi-discipline, commercial construction and consulting firm, decided it was time to rebrand their company to better represent their what they do.
Here’s our approach to rebranding (along with some great concepting and visuals):
Get inside your head
Initially, we like to sit down with our clients and put ourselves into their shoes. What are your reasons for rebranding? What message are you trying to portray? How do you want to appear to your clients? We may even ask some off the wall questions like “If your company were an animal, which animal would it be and why?” This method may seem silly, but a comprehensive (and sometimes unique) understanding of our clients’ work to produce the best results.
Research, Research, Research
After we’ve gotten to know you, we must find out information about your clients. Our team spends time not only picking our clients’ brains, but the brains of the people who consume their products. Understanding what customers want to hear and see helps our creative team develop a brand identity. Additionally, we research your competitors. We want to make sure your keeping up with industry standards while making your brand stand out in the crowd.
