If you’re lucky enough to live here in the great state of Louisiana, then you know that with the spring comes one of the busier times of our festival season. (Festival season really lasts year-round considering we like to think of ourselves as the unofficial festival capital of the world, but that just semantics—unless you’re from here in which case you know it’s not. It’s real. Very real.)
We digress.
Since our beloved state is so rich in culture, food and great people, we decided to dedicate our April blog to some of the festivals happening in the next couple months. We’ve stuck mainly to major festivals in or within driving distance of Baton Rouge because we all know that we could be here for the next month if we listed every festival coming up in Louisiana. (Just google “Louisiana festivals,” and you’ll fall into a black hole of festival names, dates and locations.)
If there’s a festival you’re really passionate about that we didn’t include, share your feelings with the world in the comments section or on our Facebook page.
